At Outdoor Life we pride ourselves in providing high quality services throughout our business & that continues with our workshop. We recommend that a bike gets a service every 12 months, & when purchasing a bike from ourselves you receive a FREE service within the first 3 months.
We love making sure that your bike stays in tip top condition & our Cytech qualified mechanics, with over 30 years of combined expert knowledge, are on hand to help! With us you know that your bike is in safe hands, from changing a tube to a custom build no job is too big or too small!
What do we do?
Well, everything really. From Fork and Shock services to BB removal and tubeless conversation.
Our standard Shimano Service is £40, which includes a 43 point check plus the removal and installation of new Shimano brake and gear cables *where applicable.
I want to leave my bike in, how does it work...
There is no need to pre book a workshop slot, just drop the bike off when it suits you. We'll have a chat and you can let us know if there is something specific you need looked at or we can check over the bike and make a recommendation. Once we've started your repair work we will be in touch if there is anything chargeable above and beyond what you have asked for, and let you know the extra cost and any change to the timescale.
Can I pre book a repair slot? This is not a something we offer at the moment, as we find our current queue system works best.
If you are under real time pressure to get your bike back, please let us know, we will do our best to work with you.
I want to do it myself. Do you sell tools?
Yes. If you like to do the job yourself from home we have the world of tools for sale to cater to the needs you have & can provide lots of free, friendly advice if you come across a problem you're not quite sure about, just call in store & we'll do our best to help.
